I’m watching this an I’ve got hundreds of cattle an if I saw those barstewards treating my animals like that I’d be kicking them around the fecking floor!! Totally disgraceful, an I’m not soft or daft but that kind of treatment is totally unnecessary an puts every farmer with stock in a bad light!!

this farm needs naming and shaming - no contractor should ever work for them again and no input supplier or buyer should deal with them ever again

they need shutting down

so who is it ? someone on here will know I’m sure

Not seen it, heard it discussed on the radio. If the footage described is genuine, then I don't see a defence, especially not relating to milk price.
If these things didn't exist they couldn't film them.
And I know we have all had days that you wouldn't want a film crew with an agenda hanging around the place..
Are they using uneducated Romanian labour or are the employees home grown, not that it makes much difference, management are still responsible whatever.

Doesn't represent the dairy industry very well, but Google freshways and see the comparison. My daily pinta comes from freshways, barely lasts a day before going off. 😤

Well I’d be up for going for a visit if you find out an educate them foreign feckers about how it feels to be kicked an stamped all over when your stuck in a tight spot you can’t get out of!! Handling any stock can be stressful an frustrating, trust me I know, but that treatment was excessive to say the least! Jo public believe that this is what we’re all like, the owner of that place should be totally ashamed an all those staff sent down the road ASAP

the owner doesn’t deserve to farm - i hope they prosecute and ban them from keeping animals ever again

as an industry we must have zero tolerance for this kind of thing all we are all screwed

the fact that farm is red tractor assured beggars belief and really highlights how utterly meaningless it is

Brother in law has monty cows, if anybody even thought about hitting them the offender would end up in the slurry tank. Every penny he has goes to make sure those cows are comfortable even to the detriment of himself.

I didnt watch it and do not condone or excuse abuse but i bet the majority of us if secretly filmed long enough would not be proud of some footage. Long hours , awkward animals and loss of temper etc. I bet half the general public population would have questions to answer of some sort if filmed for long enough.

I cannot watch animal abuse in any form. (As you get older, and I am, your attitude changes) People who abuse animals, like that black f**ker kicking the cat want birching.

That's the point though isn't it? One footballer out of perhaps 5000 pro footballers in this Country doesn't have everyone saying all footballers are cruel barstewards, one bad farm out of thousands doesn't mean every farm is the same.

Made a good point about milk prices being so low and virtually static over the last ten years.

I would watch it if I were you before saying you don't condone etc and then going on to make it sound like widespread practice and that we cannot contain ourselves from committing some horror show that should never be filmed.
