The crop what was drill this time (wheat) is growing well it’s just ive never drilled into anything like this before and it was the last few fields for the seed to show compared to the heavier land
Doesnt half lift the phUsed a fair amount over the years here of paper crumble. Putting on 20t/acre of it only on ground that’s really low on lime. First year it does take nitrogen away from the crop to break it down but after that it’s a better crop on the whole. Got stuck in a wet hole with a nearly full spreader so had to empty the load to get out. The following year when it was ploughed up the area that I’d emptied out onto was full of worms so much so you could nearly pick a handful of them up at a time.
Its not all bad stuff just to use it where it’s justified.
