I had a chap buy my bulk tank 2 years ago, he was going to make a micro brewery! Don’t know if it ever got going , but he wanted my 8 jars to fit behind the bar ( phase 2 of his plan ) , to showcase his ales.
He offered a tenner a jar. I politely showed him the direction to go home !:rolleyes:

12 years? Lightweight!

I've got some in a shed that came to the farm in 1962 when my Grandfather moved farms, but never took up milking again..........don't throw them away lad, we might need them one day.........
well i've increased the value of yours...send a cheque for £10 a jar and call it quits ;)

Great, rooting around still cleaning out the shed this afternoon, and there behind the Nuffield and the dismantled series 2 bits are half a dozen jars. I'm going to give them to Mrs Fred to come up with a crafty idea.

Wish you'd showed him the direction to my place!

Anyone got a spare jar, want to make a lamp for the house. Worked on loads of farms and seen them worked in the skip. Parents would never let me take one home.
