I’ve had matting in the pit a few years, it’s made a big difference to comfort and foot ache, but has never lasted. Being dubious initially of the benefits I bought some cheap tiles off eBay, initially good, then went flat and lifted. Replaced again, about a year, same thing. Put some rubber ground stability mats in, they’re very comfy, but hard to clean as they hold muck in the holes, rather than being a smooth surface. Any recommendations for a comfortable, easy to clean mat that won’t break the bank?

Bought mine from GEA very pleased. Cheaper than easy fix. Neighbour has some Quattro ones which are the dogs as they sealed them all round the edge so there is nothing getting underneath

It was a very slightly selfish buy. Occasionally I have to help him TB test which for the milkers entails me in the pit encouraging cows through into the crush. And it does my feet and knees no favours at all!I’m sure we must be related!
it also feels like going too far back in time and we can’t have that !
