Parlour Washings and other mildly contaminated water

Ambridge soap opera on an "average" small village, lets see, two men marrying and paying a surrogate to have their child, man having an affair and his mistress trying to kill him, another lover of another man conning old ladies out of their life savings, alcoholism, battered wife stabbing her husband, oh, modern day slavery, typical small English village! I have probably missed a few things!
Lol. Funny how all tv shows have the gay couple, wife beaters and a drunk, guess it’s all has to be politically correct and touch every facet of life. Was going to say where does agriculture come into this but then read modern day slavery so that would cover it quiet adequately.

oh and obviously the organic farmer, and the big farming company manager blocked the culvert, flooded the village and someone died!

I have Sirius satellite radio in my tractor but only use the tractor during summer,I’m going to see if I can track down the archers on that. Might even get it via iPhone. Sounds worth a listen.

We seem to produce an inordinate amount of mildly contaminated water from washing down and cleaning the parlour and bulk tank.
At the moment it’s pumped to a slurry tank under one of the cow sheds but this compromises storage
We’ve tried irrigating via a Rotorainer but it’s too fragile and needs too much attention.

Ideas and solutions … that don’t cost a fortune please
I just had mr environmental inspector round and he said my sprinkler system was non-compliant as it spreads in the winter when the grass does not have a need for the N. As far as he was concerned, it should be treated as slurry and it needs to be addressed.

So where do you farm?

I guess there is too much stuff in the way to have a stationary (or spring loaded to go around posts) scraper sweeping off cow poo into a tank on a rotary?
