I know 1 or 2 people that know an awful lot about growing with hydroponics !, unfortunately they are both unavailable for the next 5-10 years !.

Always wary of a JV in horticulture I have had several bright sparks wanting to rent out my polytunnels for growing peppers, herbs, cut flowers, then after a few weeks they realise theres no easy money to be made from the operation leaving me to clear up the mess. Now I just say if your not prepared to put in 50k upfront then I am not interested. As for hydroponics I dont think much would be grown commercially without it.

Come on its a reasonable question we would have very few lettuce or tomatoes in this country without hydroponics.

Not a problem we used to grow 350 different varieties of herb commercially including 21 varieties of basil.

Market was flooded by Dutch growers. We just dont have the horticulture infrastructure to compete.
