We are considering a new business diversification and would prefer to do it as some form of JV. If you know about growing hydroponically and want to know more send a pm.

Always wary of a JV in horticulture I have had several bright sparks wanting to rent out my polytunnels for growing peppers, herbs, cut flowers, then after a few weeks they realise theres no easy money to be made from the operation leaving me to clear up the mess. Now I just say if your not prepared to put in 50k upfront then I am not interested. As for hydroponics I dont think much would be grown commercially without it.
