Says hardware shops will still be open. Includes screwfix I would say
More likely deflation apart from food if no body can sell stuff apart from food and spares and with loads not working no money to buy stuffGlobalism .. what a complete failure.
Oh well .. batton down the hatches this is gonna get rough.
I already thought there'd be inflation but this is gonna get nuts.

Bought enough oil, filters & Baler cord to see us through and at a stretch chems apart from maybe blw spray and perhaps some fancy fungicide for spring oats
Loads of people with no work and little moneyLoads .. do you mean transport ?

Wont be spending too much but luckily as I do my own agronomy and belong to niab I saved a fair bit of chems from last year and used no T3, we are small scale and grow corn for the straw into the equestrian market so try and ensure we get qualityWas thinking about getting on about that .. but to be honest our crops are pretty bad atm.
Not worth spending much on them as they are.

Definitely inflation in the medium term. For a start the value of the pound has fallen against most currencies. That will make imports (almost everything) more expensive. The money supply has been increased through Quantitive Easing (printing money) to buy government bonds (debt). At the same time the collective output of the economy has fallen so you have more money but less wealth. Every pound is worth less so when things start up prices will riseMore likely deflation apart from food if no body can sell stuff apart from food and spares and with loads not working no money to buy stuff
Ha no. But not too much of an issue going there anyway there’s never anyone else there. Suppose combines are all serviced on site etc it’s a million miles away from the hive of activity when it was on st marys roadNot kirby’s, I’ll bet
the list says hardware shops that must mean a screwfix type storei’m assuming dealers are allowed to stay open to support food production ?
diy shops / screwfix etc not though ?
it’s going to get busy online i think !
Thankfully my stuff is old enough that I can do most repairs myself and weld bits ontothis is the situation I fear is gong to become reality here quickly, all this kit needs techs to back it up and parts to keep arriving at depots

Shouldve stuck with Batemanthis could suddenly become a very desirable feature !
I think we can keep most stuff we run going ourselves, software issues and diagnosis can usually be sorted remotely as well
sprayer is the biggest concern, very important machine here yet one sensor could stop it if we couldn’t get a replacement or find a work around bodge !
