I think we owe GUTH an apology he always said it was a load of bo110cks and he was right. Everything will be back to normal in a few weeks, just the deaths from cancer and such like will be higher, due to hospitals being closed resulting in late diagnosis.

Not really much evidence of any of the coronavirus measures left around here. People doing as they want

Thought most of you lot were rioting in the cities

You’ll be pleased to know that London and Cardiff held solidarity protest marches today ... probably without much distancing

So recorded as due to covid?

I think the government have lost control of the population now and barring martial law, I really cannot think how they can stop shops and even pubs opening up and then social distancing will go to hell in a handcart.
Mate in Bedford says people standing to close to each other in parks and the streets, months and months of lockdown people are fed up and won't listen to the government any more

Complete and utter cock up, would not be surprised if we undo all the work that has gone into the lock down. Government have totally lost the plot.
lock down shouldhave been lifted in stages, then we could have seen the effect of each change, now nobody if sending kids to school , lifting social distancing restrictions in parks , families meeting or whatever. If the infections jump, the only option will be to go back to strict lockdown.
crazy , just to take the heat off the government

Because there's very little infection in the community , I suspect the cases will plummet when they've cleaned up the hospitals and care homes

So a question for all the sages who post on here. Is this sudden change down to:-?
1. General lockdown fever
2. Economic pressures.
3. Following the lead of other countries.
4. People`s reaction to government losing control.
5. A flippant disregard to the dangers of a second spike.
6. Support for the NHS and key workers has evaporated.

All of those plus perhaps we have come to realise that the vast majority of deaths are the old and the sick

I think a lot on here need to remember back and see that lockdown was never really controlled, as without full on marshall law - PEOPLE (Joe Public) do what they want, when they want, and did do.
Remember the twonks going to the park, the baracades in Wales to stop people visiting / using second homes, police forcing people to go back home - so for me I sit here thinking wtf is new.

Mankind is a selfish mammal, who doesn't give two fuks for anything other than its own desires. Naff all to do with government (as they're all at it), so maybe its time to stop all the mono focussed blame game, and try and move on.. Lifes too short...

You may be right but I wonder how some of the not so old and sick but who have had the virus would view your response

But that’s the thing. From what you read, “they” are now suggesting that the vast majority of people with the virus are asymptotic and those not old or with underlying conditions either take onboard a massive viral loading or are fat
