Lets Go Digging

Hi, I'm Chris and with my business partner Paul, I run Lets Go Digging. We are paying farmers a up to a £1000 plus to metal detect on their land for one day. Apart from in many cases being a welcome income, we remove potentially dangerous metal objects from the land we detect whilst offering the potential to discover the history beneath our feet. We pay the landowner on the day and can utilise pasture or arable land. We usually require a minimum of 70 acres per visit, so any landowner with for example 500 acres, we would expect to organise 5-7 events totalling approximately £3500 -£5000+ payable. Arable land when ploughed, would attract a full revisit too.
Although establisged in 2014, we have recently launched our website letsgodigging.com which is realising a fast membership sign up and our reputation is seeing referrals from one farmer to another.
Each member nationwide have their own public liability insurance which covers them individually for 10m.
If any landowner would like to discuss this with me, then please feel free to contact me on my mobile 07522008333
The latest generation of farmers seem to be very open minded towards the hobby and the financial rewards (not only the payment from us but the potential of a valuable hoard being uncovered) and our permissions are growing by the week. We are particularly looking for land in the South East, East Anglia, the midlands and the North West although all areas will be considered.
I hope this will be of interest to a few and look forward to any questions!
