Patchwork black box

On the AMA Tran 4 the patchwork is only sending limited gps signal. But I could buy a receiver for the amatran but that’s 1k. Which seems daft when I already have the patchwork.

What do you mean with a limited gps signal from the patchwork?

Do you now have an RS232 cable from the patchwork to the Amazone screen, feeding NMEA data? I did not find information from the Patchwork website which of their receivers has an output port for NMEA.

If limited means "insufficient accuracy", perhaps you do not have any EGNOS fix at that time. I believe any Patchwork receiver can do EGNOS (although I've never seen their products).

Had this problem before with patchwork not sending signal to amatron.

If like mine it will look like it's working, but then the signal will disappear suddenly.

Out of general interest: which signal disappears suddenly? GPS position data completely (not just differential correction state)? I guess only at the Amatron box, not on the patchwork box?
