Payment timings for Mid/Higher Tier

Just drawing up next year's budget/cash flows. Assuming all goes well, I'll start a Higher Tier CS agreement 1st Jan 2018.

When are we supposed to start receiving payments for CS? For those of you who had 2016 start dates, have you had anything yet?

I went to a 'workshop' and was told they would pay it at the same time as Basic Payment . Started one 1.1.17 so perhaps might get some on 1.12.17?

... take it as a bonus if, sorry, when it arrives.

Good advice, farmerm.

But it's still most unsatisfactory that when doing one's budgets for the bank one can legitimately include both the costs and the associated income, but when doing one's cashflows having to remember to include all the costs and to exclude the associated income.

Suppose we shall just have to get used to it.

Been in ELS/HLS since 2010 and to begin with the payments came every 6 months from start date. They then adjusted payments to go with the calender year but still every 6 months. Then they changed that they could not pay you untill you SPS claim was validated so now get a payment in December and the final payment early spring for the previous year.

Been told I should get a payment before the end of the year but we will wait and see :(

Much as one can always do with a really good laugh, Old Tip, in my humble opinion these cash-flow delays are rapidly getting well beyond a joke.

Part of the problem is that the entire old boy networks at the NFU and the CLA, being all high profit makers in their own right (whether from their own hard graft or from some or other fortuitous succession), would happily see as many payments as possible put off into their next tax year or, better still, into the one after that.

They really have absolutely no idea just how close us plebs' feet is to the fire.

I have been promised.......for the forth time this year...... a payment tomorrow for the 2016 year.

Apparently if the RPA computer system can't make the payment, Natural England are going to make a manual payment.

Waiting in exciting anticipation !

Just looked and the answer is no........the b###ards...........

Anyone fancy doing some ploughing, as leaving quality Romney Marsh dirt to the wildlife and sheep definitely doesn't pay !?!

I have spoken to NE twice about our payment for start date Jan 2017
1st i was told Oct/Nov
2nd I was told Nov/Dec.

This is for my "advance payment"
Quote from dictionary
to pay someone some money before the regular time.
to go or move something forward, or to develop or improve something

I don't see NE doing either of these things!
