Peculiar potatoes

I have a few patches of tatties throwing up shrivelled leaves, much smaller and darker.
Under ground all is well with regards to tuber numbers and their size compared to the unaffected areas.
Any ideas?
Could it be K deficiency?

Apparently recent sunny weather led to a significant increase in ozone levels which are reported to have damaged potato leaves. Ozone is produced by sunlight and vehicle exhaust.

Thinking today and chatting to various "experts" it could be excess N or P or a K deficiency. Tissue tests may give us a better indication.

Should be foliar feeding the things every other blight spray so I can't see it's P or K deficiency.

Mn and Mg or seaweed extract go one weekly with the blight spray.
Soils are index K2 and P5. Looking more likely too much N. Symptoms are similar on old muck heaps.

If I remember correctly you use a fair bit of the liquid factory waste sludge stuff. Could it be something in that???? I've seen similar in beet where an excessive amount of shed washings along with detergents and disinfectants have been spread on ground.

I haven't put any on that field since early 17 pre beet.
The patches seem to correspond to the wet parts of the field. There are artesian springs within these patches and it never dries out. All on the top or side of a hill as well. The wet bits have to be avoided with the gunk as I would never get them drilled.

Is it across the whole field? If so id assume virus in with the seed

No just the wetter parts of the field.
Tissue tests will hopefully prove something.
Confident it is not virus but nutritional in some form.

We’ve had something similar a few years back and it turned out to be pass over of some chemical from previous crops but it didn’t seam to effect the tubers only the leaves
