Anybody explain, we need more trees planting to absorb CO 2 then why are we burning wood at such an unsustainable rate even planning look for wood burners in new builds
The wood in EN+ pellets has to be sustainable. So the CO2 released when it's burnt potentially goes back into future pellet deliveries. It's a carbon neutral cycle.
Compare that to heat derived from gas, where that's fracked or sucked out from under some Russian sea bed. That carbon ends up blowing around in the atmosphere, where it had been buried previously.
Anyway, I've not bought any pellet since June when I got a spot price of £195 from Afterwood.
