Normally done by a specialist company, more unnecessary expense.I’ve done hundreds in my time digging the holes and waiting for water to go down then fill in again.nearly as bad on big civil jobs digging 4metre holes and taking soil samples every 100mm.Dig a hole, Hoy a bucket of water in, Time how long it takes for water to disapear
Google to find what the answer needs to be
Give that answer to architect
Plan BWhat happens if it fails
Then you have to look into drainage mounds. What happens if it fails
And pay for them for as long as they want to stay thereAnd don't forget you'll need on site archaeologists when digging out the footings .............
Thankfully I’ve managed not to have to do that. Be the only report/Survey I’ve not been made to get .And don't forget you'll need on site archaeologists when digging out the footings .............

10 yrs and 3 kids later????Depends .....
Chap that did our perculation test told me to dig a couple of holes & pour water in. Tell him the time I’d done it & he would come & inspect. Came to see, told me he was going away for 10 minutes and to bucket the water out before he came back!
