Perfect Solar Power Curve!

In April our system produced 700kwh more than it did last August!

May got off to a good start too with yesterday producing 2/3 as much power on its own as the whole of December:

We've been behind schedule until April though, need 160kwh/day or more to reach our target of 43mwh by mid July.

Our 20 kw roof mount system finally got connected on Monday afternoon, averaged 120 kwh a day Tuesday and yesterday, so not a bad start, best spot rate I've seen was yesterday lunch time at 19.8 kw

Got two 50kw systems installed 5 weeks ago. Today was best yet and produced nice pretty graph like yours. Been pleased overall so far but early days. Initial problem of inverters tripping out at weekends when exporting a lot but apparently were not set right and all been faultless ever since.

Standalone, it's at 42 degrees pitch, I think the spot rate will climb as the sun rises higher in the sky. See my 'pictures from a mixed farm' thread in the extras section for more details!
You can't adjust them?
My house set up is 60 degrees and I am comparing them to my 50Kw system set on a 15 degree chicken shed
The house was out performing the shed by 25 % in the winter but is now running neck and neck since the shed is starting at 5.30 in the morning really 90 mins before the house
But the shed has not yet hit more than 40Kw
Hopefully the summer will bring better

Only with hours of spannering!

Dad has 4kw on his house at a much steeper angle, it way outperformed the 50kw pro-rata all winter with the lower sun but now the 50kw is slightly outperforming the house.

On the inverter tripping front, our ageing transformer had to be replaced, due to one of the inverters always restarting, we had it budgeted for beforehand.

How do you guys go about logging the production from your systems? We are installing two 30kw systems next week and I'd be interested to know if you are just noting the daily production by looking at the systems or if you are somehow getting it on to a computer or into a spreadsheet? Many thanks

firstly
are you sure you sre putting in 2 X 30 or may it be judged 1 X 60 in the future
There are various telemetric systems to give you a readout via your phone or the internet
speak to your installer

Installer registered us with emig.co.uk Shows you graphs for daily output each day, totals for day, week and month. Nice clear way of showing what has been produced.
