Looking something tidy to shelter and enclose a yard area, anyone got any pics or ideas? May end up building a wall but would prefer some form of fence as may need to alter in the future.

Was thinking something like this would be tidy looking but it's pretty expensive for what it is and not sure how durable it would be either

Steel or concrete posts, then slot in cheap firlap panels or for a smarter look, closeboarded panels. The posts will last and the panels can be replaced cheaply and easily. Probably not stock proof though.

Does this fence need to be stock proof/ criminal resistant? How’s your budget? Shoestring, gold plated?
General public in contact with the fence?
Needs to be stock proof, criminals will laugh at it whatever I do, somewhere between shoestring and gold plated lol, and yes to an extent the general public will be in contact with it

Okay, so wooden panels are out. Steel will be your best bet. Mesh panels probably won’t be strong enough. How do you feel about metal palisade?
@had e nuff posted some pictures of his recent work, in the fencing pictures thread, to give you an idea. If you choose this option make sure you get plenty of concrete round the post, its a heavy fence and can catch the wind.
