Hi everyone. I’m a 53 year old male that is looking for permissions to pest control with legal limit air rifle.. I’m fully insured . I have my own double glazing company for the last 35 years and will offer excellent offers to anyone that gives me permission..

This is a farming forum. Every profession has it's own brand of humour. This one also has about 46,000 members last time I looked. That's an awful lot of chances to find what you are looking for but some still cock it up with an attitude problem. He is not the one looking for something for nothing.

Attitude.? So I can receive a really rude answer and that’s acceptable? Soon as I reply “ what’s the problem “ .. I have the attitude? I presumed like me , you are business people who respond with busines like answers ?as for something for nothing .. when I get asked for job vacancies.. if I reacted like you : I wouldn’t have a business .. get off you high horse ideas only polite asking

Job vacancy? Not sure what that has to do with this thread.
Metal detecting isn’t a job, it’s a hobby.
You have asked for land to carry out your hobby and in return you have offered to sell that person new windows?
Not sure where the benefit is to the landowner/farmer

Ok .. this is going no where .. so free pest control and half price Windows doors , fascia boards / guttering / cladding / carpentry .. thought this was fair trade off ... really thought that offering all this to shoot a few pigeons would be amazing value .. I’d jump at it to be honest ... did not realise I’d cause so much annoyance.. it wasn’t my intention... you as well as me must know how difficult it is to get permissions ... I always try to support farmers as I realise times are hard but why be so negative.... I’d rather you just say .... mate don’t bother we are not interested .. it’s a lot more honest and genuine

I’m sure some people may be interested, however, I already have a metal detectorist (lovely bloke) and pigeon shooters (2 old boys who have been coming for 25 years), so I can’t offer you anything.
Again, think about what you are offering, it’s only of benefit if that farmer is looking to change windows etc, otherwise he would probably rather you paid a rent.
