Hi @vantage ,
Doing a large water project soon so looking at prices of pipes and fittings and looked at Totalpipes on your suggestion having never heard of them . Not sure how , but they are quite a lot cheaper than anyone else to the point you think it must be sub standard or something !!?
Just wondered if you could confirm the stuff is good ?
Eg 25mm mdpe water pipe , 100m £79 25mm tap £24.56
McveighParker £100.70 £61.36
BP plastics £94.02 £36.95
MVFarmers £96 £38.25
Thanks
I got 32 mm for the same as those outrageous prices

Depends who last had the box! 🤬

Yeah you really don’t want to go there, I don’t rate their management much either

These are the guys to use. I’ve never found anyone cheaper for the 32mm range, ever, in about 8 years.
What price did you pay , those prices seem way more than I paid unless it's including vat
Don't make sense , I had 4 quotes all under £1 meter for 32 mm they are £1.29 meter

How recently? It seems expensive to what I was paying last year but I know it was going up a lot all the time. The bloke I bought ours from said he was getting embarrassed telling customers of the constant price rises.

Prices have shot up.

I tend to type in to google what I want, pick the top 5 searches and Chuck a few items in the basket on each site then compare. Takes 5 minutes, can save £100’s.

From memory total pipes were about 2.5% cheaper than most, about 20% on JDP and the like

I use both philmac and sometimes plasson depending where I’m working and what local supplier has in stock.
Plasson stop taps are better quality in my opinion though.
(Just sorting a pissy plasson this morning on a trough 🧐)
