Photo I can't figure out in farmers guardian!!

In the machinery supplement that come with last Friday's farmers guardian there is a photo on page 10 and 11 I just can't figure out. Why is the 2 rotor rowing up machine being used at little more than half capacity with one rotor doing virtually nothing? If the rake was used properly the field would be rowed up quicker and with less swaths
baled a lot quicker

I haven’t seen the picture but a guess would be a big crop and keeping the rows smaller for bailer??

I wondered the same, although the rows are arrow straight.
