Photos slow to open

Since the last upgrade to TFF my phone does not display many of the photos on e.g. "today at work". Sometimes refreshing the screen makes them appear, but even then not always.

My laptop (using a different OS provider & different network) has the same problem but to a lesser extent.

Does the new version require a certain plugin, or only work well with OS or browsers under a certain age? Both my devices are up-to-date so far as I know.

Not so much being slow to load but more to do with posting full sized image rather than a thumbnail.
Not as intuitive to post at full sized since upgrade judging by amount of thumbnails being posted at the moment

I’m not keen on that either but it’s the way this version of xenforo is it seems and not sure we can make it defaul to full image @Chris F may know different?

the person posting the image can select full image but I agree it’s not very intuitive
