Evening,

I'm new to this forum, but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I have been asked by a volunteer that has gone over to Ukraine from Bristol to help and source two 4x4 pickup trucks.

After a thorough search on eBay, Facebook marketplace and other websites nothing affordable has come around, as mostly are sold via middle men.

Does anyone on this website have any surplus to requirements pickup trucks that still have life left in them and could be used by the army over there?

Ideally the budget would be around £2k.

Proud to send two we donated off today, not without drama getting a replacement v5 in time and fixing an issue on the other in time. Organised by @Nigel Wellings (Acres Insurance) and to be driven over by a team of volunteers. Sorry not to be in a position to drive this time but endeavour to resurrect the other Cherokee for the next time. Any other resurectable or usable 4x4s you might donate mean a damned sight more to Ukraine than they do to us. Bit of an emotional day for the old boy to say good bye to mums old jeep... May she look down fondly and let them fight as hard as she did.

Your Cherokee and Ranger were brilliant. 1500 miles on them in 3 days driving out to Ukraine and they did not miss a beat. All the trucks that go have to have a valid MOT and been serviced. They are used around the front line and for medics tending seriously injured so breakdowns can be life threatening. We have organised and sent 9 trucks so far, hopefully another 6 in the spring. Majority donated by farmers. Very difficult to buy anything decent for £2k
