Pick up tyre size

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is any issues with going away from the recommended tyre size on an isuzu dmax, legally or insurance etc etc...

Wanting to go from 255/60/18 to 265/60/18. There's a lot more choice of tyre this size

I put 265/60/18’s on my Navara without any detriment and you can’t really see much difference compared to the originals. Technically it would be classed as a modification and your insurance should be notified but I very much doubt anyone dose over 10mm difference. If you where changing the rims and going to massive mud tyres i’d say tell them but otherwise personally I’d jfdi. However, just remember advice given on the internet is worth exactly what you pay for it.
