Got pick up tines to re new on three machines and I'm expecting the bolts that hold the bands on to be tight. Is the best way to give them some heat with gas to make them give?

funny, ive just been ordering M8x16 flanged head bolts in stainless to combat this problem, its normally not the fault of the screw, its the rusting of the 10mm's of open thread behind the band that's the cause of the problem or in my world at least.
+1 for the stainless steel bolts. We do the same on our Harvester pickup.

Stainless nuts and bolts for the tines too, and just keep re-using them where as the old ones would ring the Allen key head and need replaced.

No help, but on my square baler the bolts that hold bands in keep breaking heads off them when i try to remove them. Its always bottom ones that snap too.
when i was doing the reel of my baler the bottom ones was the worse and i believe this is where the water and most wet grass will lie. Ifound heating them up with gas or weld a bigger nut onto the bolt made it alot easier to take out as it heated it.
