There is also a need for such vehicles here too, but it isnt catered for as they only offer the high end luxury version of toyotas landcruisers till very recently.
I see they dont fo the gx with 7 seats sadly

everything here has GST, but as an eligible business you can claim it back, on any vehicle, as long as it is business useage

what do you mean by export vehicles ?
If you bought one to export to another country, I’m not sure how the GST applies ? Maybe if you were buying it from overseas, I don’t think GST would apply ?

That’s pretty much the same as here.
There are a few oddity’s to our system, you can only claim the VAT back on a car if you can prove that it’s use is absolutely entirely for buisness purposes, something that most can’t do as it doesn’t suit their needs.
Meanwhile vehicles like pick ups which are classed as commercial, IIRC they have to be capable of carrying a ton payload are classed as dual purpose so can be used for private use as well, hence plenty of people buy a posh double cab which gets used mainly as a car.

I’m not absolute on the exact wording of how it all works so I hope I have explained it correctly.
