Oui for road use and it's more difficult to insure, but not impossible.

Here we have a plaque d' immatriculation that applies to all agricultural vehicles on this farm, As it has no carte grise (v10 equivalent) it is not possible to register it individually, so we run all the trailers etc on the farm plate and leave the plate of origin on the tractors,

My insurers were not happy with that, as after Jan 1st 2015 something in the road regs changed. I rang the DVLA and they issued an export licence( instead of a V10) for the Tractor I brought with me. I now show the CG plate and the Cheptel plate on both Tractors.
