Pictures From France

We arrived the day you posted your question @Chae1. I am glad that we could come before we actually take over as it has been knackering! It is a nice farm in a great location with some very helpful tolerant people around us! The guy we are taking over from doesn’t finish until november11th but we are fortunate to have an empty house on farm that we can stay in. It is a massive change and learning curve but after a week we are all happy and so far no regrets! Once we are more settled and the internet is connect I will post some pics and more words! Thanks for your interest!

The spring fed wash house, you can see the scrubbing boards, a big cauldron is under the roof.
The school room, with its pot bellied stove, soup jugs for lunch are kept warm on top, and its maps of the French Empire.

First School I went had a coke stove in one of the classrooms and it was still always freezing.
