I see someone in the vienne advertising Angus beef. La Perriere Angus Boeuf, on facebook? Don't know any more than that though. I do get the impression that anything other than limousin or charolaise and you need to create your own outlet!!

Duncan & Hannah Nobbs, la perriere Angus.
They bought some Angus bullocks off me a few years back when they first arrived, think they’ve 40 odd now.. mostly meat sales but I think a few go through les herolles market, don’t know what the trade for anything other than Limousin is like though

I hope to do the same with Angus time will tell about the market for them!
I see from your location you are not far from Moulins. Big Charollais country there! (Stayed there a couple of times with a family, Charly has the vet practice in Cressanges)
When you rock up with your Aberdeen Angus you'll certainly turn some heads, you'll be known as 'M. Le Rosbif' ;)

If that’s all I am known as I can live with that! The main part of the herd will be Limousin, I really cant get enthusiastic about Charolais, they cost more to produce and return less than Limousin cattle and are not much fun to calve! The guy I am taking over from has had 6 caesarians in his first batch of 70 still got 2 more batches to go! The guy I have bought my lims from was calving 260 a year and the last time he had any cesarians was 4 years ago when he had 3 in the whole lot!

I went to the local market the other morning and have found a buyer for any heifers I don’t sell for breeding and any youngish cows I want to sell. I think it will be ok......... hopefully!
