Love the migration of grue cendre. Kids followed the routes as a project when they were little.
Mrs said she thought she'd heard them trilling but couldn't see them. The wind is good for them in high pressure , taking them South. Up high, they can do 70 km an hour.
Ain't nature majestic 👍

It is the Viaduc the Juré in the Loire between Saint-Etienne and Clermont-frerand

I thought it seemed to ring a small bell in what is left of my brain! Is there a road/track that goes under or near to it?...?

Spent a day riding backroads in the region north of Puy to Issoire, and then to Roanne (I think it was). Loved the area big time. My riding mate had wanted to go down memory lane from his childhood in the early/mid 70s touring France with his Parents.

Reminds me of Glenfinnan with that big curve!

think it was a railway line. Cant find any more info about it sorry. Not a planned photo. I nearly always camera when traveling. Just seen the view from road no traffic so could stop.
I had to retrace my tirp on goople maps to find the name of the location

My first thought was that it looked like the viaduct you go under on the way from Prenois circuit back towards Dijon.

IKWYM about checking back. My Michelin maps of that trip are long gone, so I cannot be sure where we actually went :) I usually mark up at the end of the day the approx route we have done.
