What a great bit of history to own and be able to use mr noo haven't had my fergie quite as long as that! Bought it when I was 13 with money from a Saturday job will be 30 this year! I did have a fergie plough with width adjuster but stupidly sold it few years back!

HI yes its a BE plow with ley bodies wheels are not david brown they are cockshutt wheels which i narrowed rims by 2 inch and cut the centre out and welded in bolt pattern to match nuffield and i tried to gain a little by narrowing on the width but it came out at 42 between tires guess i will have to make a 1" spacer on both sides mike

Won't be cutting them just yet, the plan is just too run them in on this frame then swap them on to my other plough which has hydraulic cross shaft etc. Then I'll put the super hydreins back on this frame

I take by laid back you're not referring to Dylan the rabbit in the magic roundabout? But to running a long top link and leaning her into the work, with a longer right lift rod. I have always found this leaves the best work but am forever being advised the plough is not running level. I know of one chap who has mounted two spirit levels on his plough to keep it level!

I have found spacing the top of the boards over achieves the same result and you can also have the plough running level too. I also know someone who uses a spirit level on their plough…!
