Pig and poultry shed cleaning

I am interested to see what the prices are to clean broiler sheds, and how they are calculated in different parts of the UK.
Here in herefordshire it is worked out by square metres at an average of 43 pence per square metre. This is for litter removal, blowing (dry cleaning), pressure washing and disenfecting.
I would be grateful for any replies I receive.
Many thanks

Who do you use in herefordshire.
We are a bit below that but do a fair bit to help with pre soaking ect?
I only ask as I am foreman of a washing team that does pig and poultry units. I am interested in how prices (and wages) vary in different areas of the country.
I work for R T Jones

Never used a contractor, only cleaned our own.

approx 150x90ft shed, houses 700+ fattening pigs..

1 day to muckout
2 days pressure washing
1 day disinfecting
1 day for passageways/outdoor area/feeders

Shed is about 1000 sqm approx

The above is based on one man.

If it was someone elses shed i'd be charging around £1.50-£2.00/sqm

Personally i wouldn't work based on per head... if one farm stocks at 1.5pig/sqm and the next farm is 0.9/sqm then you're getting 40% less for the same sized shed.

I'm mucking out to a pile right outside the shed door, any carting distances and extras need to be added ontop as well
