Pigeons..... CANT GET RID

got a 10 ha field of rape on its own near 20 houses and a 100 acre wood. It’s 9 miles from home so not there everyday to let rockets off. Have had a banger out but some local twot threw it in pond so can’t put one back
Got people shooting it twice a week. Got 4 portek rotating hawks and 10 10 ft sticks with bags flapping. Still grazed to the floor. Still clearly see the rows but just not growing away. Plenty of n under it.

Any tips to help move the flying rats on
Thanks

Bags on sticks do work but you are going to need a lot more than one per hectare. Not sure that one person with a gun per hectare would be enough never mind a bag on a stick.
Keep moving them too, more than a week in one place and they won't work one bit. That applies to bangers, kites, bags etc.

Same here dam pigeons . I’ve just bought some more Portek terra kites. (Spaldings got them on offer atm )still Not cheep but the last lot lasted 5yrs so not to bad. And they do work until it gets v windy then it’s pot luck if they survive.
