Pigeons in a shed

Got two pigeons taken camp in a shed, thankfully not the grain store but it’s next to the grain store and we need the door open as it takes the damp air from the grain store out. We can’t net it due to extensive racking in there and we can’t shoot as we don’t want holes in the roof. Any ideas please?

Speak to your local pest controller (the council will know one or trade directory) as there are special pellets available for the control of vermin in buildings, such a pellets made of sugar for use in feed stores or plastic where roofing materials can be damaged.

An air rifle will do the job as long as they are sat infront of steel or wood to provide a back stop. Galebreaker do a range of retractable mesh doors which would also do the job well.

In the light of a bright torch and a dark night, feral pigeons are easy to catch. I used to catch hundreds for hawk food and dog training. Just need a steady nerve and a long ladder!;)

bought a bull on farm, next to the farm, house and barn, been sold off, the barn roof was rather holey, the chap that bought the house, hated pigeons, and shot on sight, bit of a problem, as the farmer had loads of stock doves, in his yard, l gathered the farmer and his neighbour, didn't get on.
