Pillocks

Looking on FB, as I do, there seem to be a disproportionate number of Fendts coming to grief on roundabouts. Either there's a design fault with these tractors, or they're dick head magnates.
Too much more of this, and agricultural vehicles will be banned from public highways. No skin of my nose.
In this case at least, no harm came to the tractor as far as we can tell..

I remember a new underpant job when we were hauling hay back in the middle ages. I was pottering along the A338 on the IH 434 with a 7 high load of small bales while dad sat on top, as he did, when an E-type Jag came flying up behind us and decided to be clever by undertaking up the long layby/bus stop on our left. He put his foot down and accelerated past, only to find the other 434 with identical load just ahead blocking the way out. Luckily there is a very wide grass area by the road and he came to a sudden stop well off the road. Still gives me nightmares 40 years later! :)

A couple of points, joking aside, why is it always a Fendt ? Fastracs are designed for fast road work, Fendts ain't. Can't say I've seen a JCB having a corner mishap on FB. Should Fendts ( and all other tractors ) be limited to 40k ?
.
It isn't always a Fendt. The tractor in this thread was not to blame whatsoever. The tool operating it was to blame.

Slap on the wrist according to an earlier post! I am I have to say, quite gobsmacked!!

Most Traffic Officers would have been rubbing their hands with glee on this one... High profile warning prosecution....

I was surprised too. There was surely some basic things they could have done him (perhaps both of them) for.
Maybe they haven't seen the video though or they just put the whole thing in the too hard basket and let him off.
Would they have been so forgiving if it was a truck?

Someone could have very easily have been killed had they been following the first outfit though. Cyclist/motorcyclist would be creamed, I think even a car would have been flattened under that lot. Nasty accident. I personally would not have driven around that roundabout that fast with so much as a grain trailer.

cyclists are fair game, but shame to mess up a decent bike
