Pipe fittings

Need to do some plumbing in my house shortly to renew the bathroom, when the plumber originally did the house they used "rifeng" multilayer pipe with crimped fittings ? Does anyone know what other type of fittings I can use on this sort of pipe other than crimps as a crimping tool is expensive to buy for just a small job ! Thanks in advance

what size OD is the pipe? if its 15mm you can just buy JG speedfit inserts and then use what ever fittings you like (except soldered obviously). compression, xpress, speedfit, tectite will all work. if its not 15mm then it will be more difficult but you can buy compression fittings online in most awkward sizes

It's 22mm pipe I think, it will make it easy if JG pipe fittings will work, never had anything to do with this rifeng pipe

You might have to crimp fittings on to adapt to normal 15/22. Sometimes you can get special push fit adapters that don’t need crimping. The last option is to hire a press gun for the day/ week etc

You can get a compression adapter so that use brass compression fittings. You'll need to use a reamer before pushing in the insert

Yeah they will work, you can use most 22mm fittings but make sure you use inserts, the JG superseal ones are the best I've found

It’s not normal 15 and 22mm, they use different sizes hence why you have to adapters. Looks like 14/16/18/20/25mm.
