Not sure who told me this could have been @ Hally ,when he first said it I thought he was daft[emoji23] then I went digging , deeper and deeper. Had a shock when I saw the water shooting up from the gravel
Pic would helpI've got a big spring on my land, which runs across a few fields and generally makes they a no-go for most of the year in a vehicle.
Been thinking of trying to pipe it to feed a couple of water tanks and then down to a road drain.
What sort of equipment do I need to actually dam the spring?
I'll get pics next time im in the field.Pic would help
You may need to put some concrete rings in to intercept your spring then pipe it to troughs etc
Depending on levels of course

Ideal place to put some concrete rings in
So dig out to below spring, put concrete rings in with water fitting on bottom to connect to water trough and take overflow into near by ditch?Ideal place to put some concrete rings in
Pipe overflow away to ditch or drains below
We’ve done hundreds since the 60s
(I’m 4th generation to be involved with water and land drainage)
