I'm planning on heading out west for a short week in September, I know East Cornwall pretty well but I've rarely been the other side of Truro. We haven't booked anything yet, are there any nice villages / towns out there that would be worth look at? Cheers.

As I said earlier in the thread, I really like coverack because that's my home village, they've really done well getting back to normal after the flooding. Also cadgwith a working fishing village and pretty much anywhere on the Lizard.

Yeah my only map doesn't even go that far, it finishes at St Austell and beyond that there's just a picture of a pirate fighting a dragon.

Surprisingly what you will see just driving around just don't come on a wet day the roads are chaos but saying that if your coming in September you might be alright.
