Plans for 2020?

Whilst nearly in the no-mans-land of Xmas and NY, I thought it might be interesting to hear what others plans are for the farm/life in 2020

To set ball rolling we’ll be looking/researching at increasing the dairy herd from 100 to around 180/200 with new buildings and parlour

At my age i'm happy to get up every morning still breathing.
Seriously - stop seeing the glass half-full, opportunities out there, just not in farming.

Try and have more time off to enjoy life.
Try and work out how to employ someone full time, rather than relying on unreliable part time people.
Ride my bikes more and admit defeat trying to scare my 'unscareable' other half.
Tell my fantastic other half that I love her and that's why I wont let her pass her bike test.

will be 50 in march and starting my 35th yr with the same employer, things have changed a fair bit in the past few years staff wise so will just have to see how we get on , hopefully the weather is kinder to us in 2020 to make things slightly easier to manage will just have to carry on and hope that big win on the geegees or lottery comes in before any big changes can be made
