Plantar fasciitis wellies

Hi, l was on here a few months ago with same problems, l can say after nine months l am 90% ok, been to docs, been to physio, no joy, main help has been, 1, rolling my foot with sock on, on a frozen bottle, 2, wearing Sketchers for comfort.
I like a golf ball better. Gets right into the problem. Hurts like hell to begin with but after a week is aok.

as others have siad a ball on the foot is the way forward - a lacross ball/ hard dog ball is great as its got a tiny amount of give.
orthotics are okay - but they do not fix the fault they are a crutch and can make things worse later - my orthotics are sitting on a dusty shelf somewhere.
wellies are pretty shite for PF -due to their slidy nature inside - so a good thick sock is sensible to allow your leg/ancle to grab the boot./

Little update.
Some new inserts arrived for my boots last week. Small improvement. However still in pain.
Finally listen to the wife and went to chiropractor.... She pulled foot about, 90% improvement! Also re did my back as bad foot was making me walk funny giving back strain. £55 well spent!, Another session on friday.

I would suggest you to use custom made shoes to cope up with plantar fasciitis as it will definitely reduce your pain. Do have a read to this article about fixing plantar fasciitis

Ok thanks will do I am at that point now of so much pain I’m willing to try anything, thanks for the advice
I suffered from it for about five years in my twenties, GP useless just kept throwing painkillers at me. Changed surgeries, the first suggestion was to try acupuncture. Desperate for some relief, booked some sessions, was told it could take 10 goes. 3 sessions in, all pain gone. That was 15 years ago, fortunately it’s never come back. Whatever you have on your feet, the bigger the heel the better, and gel heel inserts for cushioning. I walk heel heavy, my wife says I am like an elephant if I’m upstairs in the house
