I purchased 10 acres of swede seeds to graze with sheep, planted as usual, has grown as kale....
Has anyone had a similar experience, or know if I can claim compensation?
Thanks.

you will have the bill showing variety etc.
I have herd of a farmer who re seeded say a 20 acre field and 2/3 bags of seed (happened to be near the middle) must have had beet seed in them. he got compensation galore.
I think he was paid for a contractor to reseed either the "patch" or the field inc seed. and got compensation for the lost yield etc the cut of grass he missed due to reseeding.

I think he came out of it better than he was before it started. obviously beet was a bit of a problem as mowing would result in soil in the silage so it was wasted.

I have also herd a story of a silage additive that went wrong resulting in the silage continually decomposing and heating up, it was full of mould. when the rep and "top man" came out they just said to farmer how much do we owe you for the full clamp of silage wrote a cheque out for agreed value job sorted, I assume he had a fare job finding more silage though.
