Planting new green hedge.

Going puttin a hedge down along side of grassy earth ditch. Just wondering should I spray it off before planting or give it good tight strimmimg ? Tis

Spray Although willow-herb and stuff won't be growing yet (they aren't here anyway) so might be better to wait, if you have that?

If you can dig a trench and refill it loosening the soil it will give the hedge a better start.i allways do this with a mini digger.id imagine you are too late to put a hedge in till november anyway

Hedge will be fine if the plants have been in a cold store.
Do be careful they dont get dry at planting or in the summer

This is the hedge it is growin around my fathers house. We have growing it from slips before. So goin to trim his hedge and use slips to create my hedge. Free and simple. If it all doesn't grow easy to stick n few n November.

A panel fence ,,hedges need cutting and take forever to fill in

Panel fence and hedge, the fence will last 5 yrs and by then hedge is up.

laurel is a great screening hedge and does grow well.

5yrs ,must be cheap panels,the ones I put in are good for 20

Slotted concrete posts are cheaper than 4x4 wood ,,put wood in the ground its rotting within a year or less ,panels ,gravel boards and concrete posts ,job done for ever,,the panels will last as long as you dont plant shrubs or hedges near them

I was told conifers are poisonous aswell, shouldn't burn them on an open fire in the house ,,still alive so maybe they're not

Looks like griselinia - grows well and very hardy even in a maritime environment
