I do 4'6" bales so I found it better to replace the tines with longer ones to hold the bottom of the bale a bit better and not have it fall out from under you. And if netwrap only, you have to be careful to only grip the bale enough so as to not cut right through the net before you get to where your slicing.
Works better with a baler with knives in as well.
False bucket is brilliant if using a mixer wagon too. Had mine for 14 years I think.

I can fill a 5 foot sheep feeder with mine although some of the silage sticks out over the top.

8 foot cattle rings easy but you need plenty of height over it especially if you are using un-chopped bales.

Would buy another that day if my Tanco was not available.
