Why would anyone in there right mind vote for something they weren't happy with in the first place. Anyone wanting another referendum wrongly assumes the outcome would be remain, if the answer was leave what then.

If parliament can’t agree on this deal and the eu won’t concede anymore then the only two options are a no deal Brexit or stay in the eu.

Either of these two options are very serious for the UK so perhaps the final decision should be put to the public?

I don’t see why anyone who has the interests of the UK at heart would be against such a public vote.

I’m in Ireland and of course would prefer if the UK remained in the eu but I respect the country’s right to choose its own destiny.

as above, everyone I speak to that voted leave regret doing so.and with the shambles that’s going on now it would be nice to see an end to all the crap and everything returning to normal

That's odd, everyone I speak to who voted leave still want to leave, and so now do some - but a minority - of those who voted to remain.

Out of interest, if Remain lose again will you want another vote after that?

I don't know about others but I didn't vote for a deal.

I voted leave as I wasn't overjoyed by the EU but the alternative has turned out to look a lot worse.

It has become apparent that after years of EU rule we don't have anybody at national level with either the confidence or ability to lead us. They would have come to the front by now and got on with the job if there was anybody. And do I want diverging standards from the EU? No. Do I want hassle and tariffs at the borders? No. Am I that bothered about East Europeans come here to do the stuff that the natives wont do? No, its a good thing actually.

So we might as well stay under EU rule.

What actual difference will it make to my everyday life anyway?

Brexit has turned out to be the biggest load of bollox there ever was.

Our membership of the EU is a bit like a marriage. Its not about happiness, its about duty. That's what the vicar told me anyway.

Referendums are notorious for throwing up protest votes. Mid cycle in the absence of not being able to vote out a given government or party, folks decide to give them a good kicking.
The consequences are seldom quite so serious as in this particular case, and the result of referendums are seldom quite so close.
Cameron gave out free issue shovels to everybody and it seems everybody has been quite busy digging since.

Yep four have died so far,not saying the police killed them as havent been following that close, they certainlly like to dish out the beatings though, what Im getting at is the french complaining about their government and that sort of reaction could well come here if people think their gov isnt listening, which plainly it isnt over brexit

I voted to leave and will do so again if the situation arises - we seem to have a government that cannot accept that a vote to leave is exactly that.

Miners strikes, student fees protests all the riots - you make it sound like the uk has been a permanent village fête since the Romans left.
