I've never used a Minimat but I've pressed plenty of ploughing. If it was me, I'd be inclined to pull the press through a bit further at the ends - you wouldn't have such a big headland to sort out.

Maybe he leaves a big headland so it fits his headland tramline :scratchhead:

Just done my ex onion land with my minimat. Its a great tool.
Headlands can be done with some planning. Furrow left on the edge of the field, manoeuvring it 90 degrees takes some precision, much easier with hydraulic press release, variwidth and autosteer.
It's the in field obstacles that make me curse more than headlands

It has been a couple of years since I was out with Jon and his minimat. I was filming for my customer Beetroot UK and Jon was drilling winter wheat, so I took the opportunity to do a new video.
Its Kockerling , not knockerling.
and why is he ploughing that ground ?the mind boggles.:rolleyes:
