Spaldings rep once told me they get it from Lemken. Not sure if that will be right or not but seems to last well enough to me.

Used to use genuine plough metal but since switching to a Lemken power harrow where very expensive genuine is only show in town have to make savings elsewhere;)

All this wearing metal is now on Farm Marketplace, worth a look as the prices are really good.

Lots more stuff been added this week, full catalogue of engineering bits and pieces as well.

Easy change stuff if they last 1/2 to 3/4 as well as genuine parts and are cheaper than genuine parts not a problem. But moleboards
Down time to change better off getting genuine parts.
That’s just ones opinion

Our Lemken plough is ready for new boards. Genuine is twice the price of non genuine. Your thoughts please on value for money.
What size plough and what width furrows etc?
I used to have a 5f KV ploughing at 20”. The first and fourth wore the quickest (4th was always following the tractor wheel) I only used to use genuine but if i’d Have wanted to cheapen the job i’d Have kept the 2 fasted wearing ones genuine and the other non genuine.

Six furrow at 14in . Mainly ploughing deep for potatoes. We find non genuine is a mixed bag from batch to batch. If it was consistent it would be ok.
