Plough parts!!

How do Lemken plough parts compare in price to kv
Just got a bill for one slat £171. Skim points and wings for a five furrow £690 it seems to be getting out of hand ?

What model plough? What bodies? We run the slatted KV, I think it’s no 30 bodies. The shares are £30 the points are £6

Not sure where you are, but try Dunn's ploughs in Devon, Knowledgeable, helpful and competitive.

Probably not the same as what your on about, but genuine Lemken wearing parts are well worth the money IMO.

Points and wings were brought by sparex, they fitted badly, and very often after 20 odd acres they were worn that the plough would not go in the ground. Genuine Lemken ones still have the paint on them after 20 acres!!

Slats for a kv aren't cheap especially the top one at least it doesn't wear out very often !! I gave up buying the plastic fill in pieces for between them I started cutting old skim points or slats up they last a lot longer

Found Kramp parts for KV from Agrilinc very reasonable and wearing well on our light land. I think 8 shares were a little over £200 and last year 8 landsides and 8 skimmer points were a similar price.
