Got to take a Cup back and it isnt a bad match to be fair, may drag a blue plough out of the shed as we will be in the Vintage Mounted Class.
Used to go regularly, but got fed up with the "artistic" marking out! Presume I upset Dorian at some point as entry forms stopped arriving.

Rutland ploughing match tomorrow, still on hope to see some of you there. We have a good site that will plough well. All classes with good entries and a pair of steam ploughing engines fielded by our local guys Joe Nourish and Brian Knight which always provide great spectacle. Looking forward to a great day, come and see us! Thank you. Edward.

Not at all helpful to those who may be interested, still dont know when it is, only when its not!
If you read his first post, he wasn't advertising the match, just asking for ideas of how to celebrate the 75th anniversary of there match. As for venues for next Autum every match i know of is struggling because of current ground conditions :banghead::banghead::banghead:
