Ploughing on 710's

Is it possible to do a tidy job ploughing sward on 710/60 R42 tyres using a KV plough with No.28 boards? Generally ploughing stubble but occasionally grassland and with a full tyre change coming up, am wondering wether it would be better to swap to 650's. This could be a cheaper option, even allowing having to change wheel centres.

Light land no bother heavy ground you can see the last furrow has been squashed a bit more so not as easy to match it up but is possible

Ideally when ploughing in the furrow I wouldn't use tyres wider than 600s but it depends how fussy you are about doing the job
I demoed a tractor on 650 and I could only just get it right with our Gregor besson variwidth on the flat but as soon as I went accross any kind of bank it just looked horrible

Used 710/70/38’s for years, 600 fronts with KV no28’s. Very big mix of land and always did a superb job! Go slower on grassland/leys.

No problem at all on 710s using a KV 28 board. Can even get a No8 to match up on our onland LO85 if I have to drop in furrow on sticky headlands !
The trick is to cut a narrower front furrow to get it to match.
