PM’s from people who just dissapear.

Had a couple of people message me via pm in last couple weeks asking about farming.this is their first post and after 2/3/4 replies they just dissapear from forum and never to be seen again.one left an email address.anyone else had this.im sure I’m not alone.

Yes. I had a random pm after posting about claiming grants. Strange language so ignored it as I thought they were after something.

A week, maybe ten days ago, I had a PM from somebody who asked, "Was I serious about what I'd said on 'that thread' ?"

He/she/it didn't say 'what thread', but I replied that, "I most probably was, as I wasn't in the habit of saying things I didn't mean."

Never gave it another thought, but I've just looked in my PM's for it and, guess what? .....

....... it's disappeared

How can that have happened

They only way it can be done is if the user is spam cleaned for being a fake account.

otherwise DMs require dual party consent to delete.
we spam clean around 100 accounts a day. Some automatically. Some manually.

That's the lady I had several messages from.I ended up with lots of family photos amongst other things,worked for maersk shipping but ended up asking for £50 even though she was due to inherit £25million??????a some people are just so weird and no I did not send any money
