Pneumonia in sheep

What evidence have you got for that, I would have thought dipping sheep that are under the weather would definitely "cure" them
it was a vet at my local practice that first told me about it i must admit i was dubious about first but i have been and done a few flocks over the years and it has worked the last time i did i dipped for it was last year for a farmer if you want i could give you the farmers number and ask him if it worked he had a bad problem with pneumonia in his sheep flock and dipping sorted it right out. the old boys up in the dales in weardale and Northumberland swear by it.

Interesting that I was told by my red tractor inspector today that the likes of Draxin should not be your first go to drug to prevent resistance problems!
Quite right.

Alamycin LA should be fine as a first line product ideally with anti-inflammatory.

Tylan not licensed in sheep so legally have to try Draxxin/Zactran/Micotil first.

The dipping suggestion is idiotic.

There is also a number of causes of penumonia in sheep and some diagnostics (even PMs if losses) can be very useful.
