Mates just had them round at his farm. 3-4 lads with lurchers and staffies. Torches and rifles 100 yards from farm house. Chased them off but seen vehicle. Police have been called and got 3 of them and dogs, rifles vanished so dumped somewhere.

See if the police have a dog unit as they will be able to find any discarded weapons.

Or if anyone else has a deer dog then they may also be able to pick up the scent of whats been hidden.

Car was seized and a few of them spent the night in cells. 2 of them have previous. One of them for firearms. A deer has been found this morning 40 yards from the house with gunshot wounds. Police have been up this morning with dogs but no firearms found at the minute. The car they were using has been seized too. Lads come from Keighley. Apparently they had been poaching at or near Gisburn holiday park just before heading to B BY B

Sounds like the police are actually bothered in your part of the country. After having a rifle in my face at 4am here one night I didn’t even get a visit.

I can’t comment on what the police are like up there, but I like to think I do the best job I can given the nature of the job.

That would definitely get a response down here.
